My sis got into a car accident! It was not her fault and she had witness! The other guy even accepted to her that was his fault! But later on, he found a witness said that was her fault, we still waiting for the police report! Both sides had witness! If the report come out and can we appeal it if it is wrong?

you need to hire a personal injury attorney. You can ask to have the report updated, but more often than not, they do not change it. Additionally, police reports are often incomplete, or simply wrong. Gather your evidence, consult with a personal injury attorney who can help you investigate the incident and get you on the right track. I would not delay, especially with disputed liability. This will be easier to prove if the witnesses have a 'fresh' memory.

You must report the matter to your sister's insurance and give all witness information. Insurance companies are quick to get to witnesses and obtain witness statements. If she has injuries retain a lawyer and the lawyer must investigate the matter and obtain witness statements. once you obtain the accident report you can file your own supplemental ,provide the witness information to the investigating officer so that he can prepare a supplemental report. That is generally the route I have adopted and seen successful in the past. If you need additional information feel free to call 1-800-743-4040.

Policemen typically don't change the report, but it's not allowable in court anyway. Bottom line is retain a car accident lawyer to review the situation.
