What is enough evidence on "proof of entry" when trying to normalize your status on marriage?

Hi . I was brought into the country when I was 16 years old by my father on a tourist visa , with this visa I got a social security card and have been paying taxes and was able to get a FL in Florida up until they passed the real ID act which basically has shaken my until now semi normal life , every year I have reported taxes , I enlisted in the selective service , etc . I am now in the process of marrying my girlfriend of 8 years to normalize my status but I lost all my papers except for my Mexican birth certificate I was able to get a copy of the SS application through the FOIL that shows that I showed a document of entry to obtain my SS , is this enough ? all else has failed even an attempt to get a copy of my document of entry because it was not a I94 but a I135 or something like that .

if you came up on a tourist visa, you need to get a duplicate I-94 card

More facts are needed to properly evaluate your case. For example, if you were admitted using a valid tourist visa then you should have been issued an I-94 card and there should be a record of it. Additionally, we don't know how long ago this admission occurred, but generally speaking, tourists are not eligible for social security numbers (they were many years ago) so what exactly happened when you were admitted is important and at 16 years of age you should be able to remember those facts. Consult with an experienced immigration attorney who can review your case, advise you of the options available, and recommend how best to proceed.
