Can CG Services take your tax refund

CG services called asking if I can start paying my ticket off I said at this moment I don't make enough money and the collection agencies said they would take my tax refunds I'm a single mother and just make enough to pay my bills at this time is it true they can hold your tax refund

GC services is a third party collection agency. Unless they have obtained a judgment against you (among other steps to "seize" that "asset"), GC Services cannot take your tax refund.

A collection agency can not take your refund. Your refund can be garnished if you owe back taxes to the IRS or state. Sounds like the collection agency is using nasty scare tactics in order to get your money.
