How can I start a Class Action against the company that makes the Copper IUD?

I got the IUD after my doctor confirmed I was not "high risk". I was 34, a normal weight, never had any menstrual problems and fertile. Within one year I gained 70 pounds, suddenly had high blood pressure (170/100), developed migraines, severe fatigue, iron deficiency, depression with no previous history of it in my life, and high levels of prolactin which caused one of my breasts to leak. I had the IUD removed and my blood pressure dropped to normal but my health continued to fail like dominoes falling. I am now infertile and have spent years trying to regain my health. I've done extensive research and found studies that show copper (such as that in an IUD) can cause a thyroid to stop working and trigger hormone imbalances that can cause infertility. Others have had the same experience.

There most likely is already a class action started. Get on the Internet and start looking for lawyers who are doing these cases.

You very likely DO NOT want to start your own class action. They are a pain. You can either sue on your own, or join another class action. Google for a reputable law firm and ask tough questions. I am so sorry you are going through this. /s/ Ward Merdes
