Bicycle accident settled with Insurance Company A ,now my lawyer sued my insurance company for not paying my PIP bills. He won . they paid the attorney fees and I get "costs and disbursements " minus filling fee and service of summons which gonna be around $200. full release of all claims shows $2700 paid to my attorney. is this right?

Your attorney should be able to provide you with a complete breakdown. It doesn't raise any red flags with me by posting these numbers.

I agree generally with the other responses that you've received and write only to add that you should review the Attorney Client Fee Agreement that you executed when retaining your attorney; it very likely contains one or more provisions that address the recovery of compensation awarded specifically for attorneys fees.

In Oregon, suits against an insurance carrier for PIP benefits usually fall under Oregon Revised Statute section 742.061. Under that statute, the PIP carrier must pay attorney fees. That sounds reasonable.
