I have been in contact with a couple of attorneys who were shocked that my divorce was written the way it was and my Alaska attorney was viewed as being inept throughout the entire process.

You have a potential malpractice claim against the attorney so long as the statute of limitations has not run out. I'm not sure what it is in Alaska, but I imagine it's fairly easy to look up.
