Is it legal/illegal to provide business services such as web design, etc for "escorts / providers?"

I design websites for a living. I would like to know if it is legal for a web designer to create a website for an "escort" or "provider" who might potentially be engaging in activities of questionable legality such as those encountered in the escorting profession. I would imagine that their websites would contain things such as prices for services, pictures, etc.

A quick answer would be that designing a web site for an escort wold be legal. The longer answer would include questions such as what else do you know about the business? If you knew or should have known the escort was providing illegal services you could be creating some liability. I suggest your best course of action is to consult with an attorney who can ask and answer the specific questions needed to give you the correct answer about the liability connected to your actions. You may want to discuss your problem with a lawyer in more detail. Most lawyers on , including myself, offer a free phone consultation. _________________ Andrew M. Depending on what you know about this business and what actually goes on, if you are assisting to set up illegal transactions then you may be considered by law enforcement to be aiding/abetting/accessory to a criminal, a criminal accomplice, or even a co-conspirator to a crime.
