I paid cash for a brand new motorcycle in 1999 and in 2000 I used the motorcycle as collateral on a loan.

I used my motorcycle for operating expenses when I bought a Semi-truck and became an owner-operator with a trucking company here in Seattle. I got the loan thru Citi-financial, after making the payments for several years and continuously asked for remaining balance with no response. Finally I got it touch with a supervisor and that said according the their records I had not made any payments for over a year. I told them I had money order receipts they requested copies of them. I got ahold of the money order company and they charged me $100 - $150 for copies of 10 - 15 money orders and then the cost of faxing all the copies to them 3-4 separate times when they finally got the copies. I filed Bankruptcy in 2004 and they had moved my account to a different office and lost my title.
