Current marriage is invalid due to the divorce finalization day of my previous marriage. It was a day after my current marriage. Marriage was done in the Philippines. I currently reside in Alameda County, CA and my spouse is residing in Dubai. We need to annul or dissolve the marriage so that we can properly get married in the US.

You need to file a summons and petition for annulment and have your wife acknowledge service of the legal documents, or have a process server serve her with the documents. With a good attorney and some luck, you might be able to process this as a stipulation for annulment of the marriage with supporting point and authorities and certified copies of the Philippine documents which substantiate your marriage date. Otherwise, just because you ask for you, the judge probably will not rule in your favor. In regard to annulments, the courts tend to be picky, so make sure you have all your “ducks lined up in a row” so that this process may be as summary in nature as possible. I hope this helps. John N. Assuming you meet the jurisdictional requirements to file a petition for annulment in Alameda County, that's where you would start. I wouldn't say it would be faster than dissolution, but it sounds like your marriage is void on its face, therefore dissolution would not be an option. You should talk to an attorney.
