I already merged into the freeway (two lane). 18 wheeler truck ran into my car & scratch the driverside. My opinion the truck driver was probably sleepy and didn't see me because I check the freeway before merging in. When the police officer came to the scene he talk to the truck driver first then ask me if I had changed lane to the fast lane & ran into the truck driver, of course I said no. I didn't get to explain my sided of the accident because I went into the ambulance for check up. When I came out the officer asked again if I had changed lane to the fast lane this time my husband came to the scene & witness that statement. Police report is incorrect, no witness of the accident, I get blame to be at fault, my insurance won't help, officer sided with the truck driver. Would I win?

If you were injured in the truck accident, then you should hire a truck accident attorney to represent you in your case. That being said, if there were no witnesses and you claim the police report is incorrect, then you may have a difficult time proving that the accident was the fault of the truck driver. You may want to use the "Find a Lawyer" feature to contact a truck accident attorney to examine your case and fight for your rights. Best of luck.
