Just received an Announcement of No Information, what does this mean?

Announcement reads, Comes now the State of Florida, by and through its undersigned Asst. State Attorney, and announces that it will file no information in the above entitled cause based on the following grounds: The likelihood of conviction at trial is slight, based upon the following: It is noted in the announcement that the victim does not wish the defendendant to become a convicted felon after explaining his side of the story at an intake interview.
