Illinois Drivers License Reinstatement??? Moving to Wisconsin and need IL license cleared before WI will issue license.

I had a statutory suspension end in 2001 in IL for 1st DUI. I then plead guilty to DUI in IL 2002, after that ended. Since then I was convicted of 2 DUI's in WI in 2005 & 2007 and was charged with my 3rd and 4th offense. I haven't held a valid license since my Statutory suspension in 2001. I have never held a valid WI license and I am no longer revoked in WI. Today I spoke with a WI DMV rep that said my Illinois driving record only shows 1 DUI.
Does the statutory suspension count as a DUI?
What is the possibility that I can have my driving privileges reinstated in IL, I want to move to Wisconsin by the Fall of this year.
It is highly recommended that you speak directly to an Illinois attorney who can review your record and determine your eligibility. The information you provided needs some clarification before your question can be answered. Many of us offer free consultations. More information on Illinois license reinstatement is available at the links below.
If you were not convicted of the IL DUI, it could be you simply need to pay the reinstaement fee on the SSS. On the other hand, if any of the WI offenses occurred on your IL license, or you provided your IL address, those would go as convictions on IL record. Contact an attorney in IL to sort it out.

It is imperative you bring your file to an experiencd criminal defense attorney in IL who has experinec with reinstatement cases for your purposes to develop a legal strategy for your plan.
I've done reinstatements in the past, I would first want to see your driving abstract and then I would promptly call the closest hearing officer at a DMV facility close to Gurnee. If they say you can pay a reinstatement fee then you're good to go, if they say you need a formal hearing in Joliet/Springfield I would recommend hiring an attorney to coordinate with an alcohol evaluator that can prepare the necessary paperwork for you to regain a license, and represent you at the hearing. I wanted to give you a little more information than other posters however much of this situation is hypothetical without seeing all the facts in front of me, this is just ONE way I would address your problem.
