They used unsterile equiptment, and i have to go to a neurologist to havemy nerves tested and it's costing my family their life savings

Yes, it is possible. First, take care of your arm situation. I do know that TN has a short, I believe one year statute of limitations, so don't wait too long. In my experience, most of the Vanderbilt docs I have encountered, are very defense oriented, so it may be a tough case to prove even if it was put in wrong. The only way to know for sure, is to hire a local malpractice attorney to evaluate.

Yes, but first you need to take care of yourself medically. Gather up your records as you go and consult with a medmal attorney, who can have an expert take a look at the records and assess whether there was a deviation from the standard of care

Yes. You can sue your OBGYN for malpractice. Unfortunately, this does not mean that you will be able to recover. Medical malpractice claims are very complex so it is important to find an attorney who specializes in those types of claims. I am sorry to hear about your situation and wish you the best.

If your damages are significant enough it may well be worth looking into. Consult with a local medical malpractice attorney.
