Hi, I recently applied for my wives H4 along with my H1 extension and got both of them approved. To my wifes last name i see a letter A added to it. Her last name is krishnan but it shows like krishnana. Please let me know should i correct it or just leave it.

I suggest you or your attorney make an effort to get it corrected if you are not pressed for time and are not travelling in the near future. First, if your case was filed under premium processing, I suggest you call or email the Premium Processing Center to get the name corrected regardless of who made the typo. Second, if your case was filed under regular processing I suggest you call the USCIS to try and get it corrected. This may be more difficult than a simple phone call and if the name was misspelled on the I-539 petition you may have to file an I-824 or Motion for Action on an Approved petition.

Not correcting it could cause issues down the road.
