Civil harassment 18 S 2709 A1) hearing without a lawyer?

I have a harassment hearing coming up and I can't afford a lawyer and there aren't any pro bono that will do it. I am the defendant and my ex-husband and sister are the plaintiffs. I just want to know if it's a hearing I can do myself and what the possible outcomes may be. I had tried talking to my sister who my ex wouldn't allow me to contact for over a year and he is abusing her. I have a long history (10 yrs) of abuse on me by him. I left, she didn't. While I was trying to talk to her he pulled on her arm hard and said "Let's go now...". So in reaction I pulled their arms apart (not hard at all, no marks were left) and told him not to put his hands on her again. They both walked off and I left. He filed saying I shoved them but I didn't. I'm wondering what to expect at this hearing?

First... This is not a "civil" matter. This is a criminal case. Although this is a Summary offense, it can result in fines and imprisonment (although unlikely). You can expect the MDJ to hear both sides of the case and render an opinion as to your guilt. Remember the government has the burden of proof beyond a reasonable doubt. if you lose, you have the right to appeal within 30 days.
