In a joint custody situation do I have to ask permission to have my daughter baptized?

We have joint custody of my two kids. We had the older baptized before out divorce but youngest we did not. Now my new wife and I want to have her baptized with our other daughter. We have tried to talk to my ex concerning the baptism and have asked her to be involved with planning it and have not got any response. We aren't planning on doing the baptism for atleast a month, if we give her clear notice and ask her to be a part of it can we get in trouble for not actually having her approval of the baptism?

If your permanent parenting plan provides that you and your ex-wife have joint decision making authority with regard to religious decision, you will need to obtain your ex-wife's approval well in advance of the baptism. If you fail to involve your ex-wife in this decision and obtain her approval, you risk being held in contempt of Court.
