How can I get my assault and disorderly conduct charge dismissed?

Went to the MVD to get a new license (mine was stolen) they immediately cut me off and said it was past 4:30 and they can no longer help me. I asked many questions as I was confused about the time and the process considering they were open until 5. One of the ladies was being very rude and disrespectful so I told her to leave me alone. I had my questions answered and the rude lady began to follow me out I told her to stay away from me that she needed a different job she called me immature. When we got to the door I asked for her name and badge number if she had one she refused, I then tried to turn her badge over (hanging on a lanyard) to read it and when I got a hold of it she slapped my arm, then followed me outside and called me a f****** loser while trying to get my license plate.

You don't have a right to dismiss your case, or everyone would. What you can do is exercise your Constitutional right to a jury trial and make them prove the case against you beyond a reasonable doubt. You'd end up, then, either acquitted or convicted, unless the prosecutor dismisses the case. You can also retain an attorney if you can afford to do so.

Based on your question, it's highly unlikely that your case will be "dismissed." In fact, you should be careful about facts you post on the internet, as a savvy prosecutor could use your own words to help to convict you. Your act of grabbing the MVD lady's badge is arguably misdemeanor assault by itself! The only way that you will avoid a conviction in this highly fact specific, "he said, she said" kind of case will be to get a not guilty verdict at Trial before a judge (assuming this is a misdemeanor case and has not been ratcheted up to a felony based upon the MVD lady's job status) or if you are offered diversion by the prosecutor, and you successfully complete the terms.
