My mother received JUROR SUBPOENA FAILURE TO RESPOND /QUEENS COUNTY

She must show up at the court because she didn't answer the questionnaire . The problem is that she's in illegal immigrant status. Her status is expired. Does she need to show up with expire visa or just don't attend the court.?

The State of New York isn't interested in enforcing federal immigration laws. Just make sure she shows up or her problems will get worse.

You must be a US citizen to serve on jury duty. She should go down with proof of citizenship elsewhere and they will dismiss her from jury duty.
