My car was hit by someone when it was parked in my office parking space , there was no note left by person who did that and I am filing a claim for this with my insurance company total estimate is around $1500 including labor but actual car door damage repair out of 1500 is less than $100 (other is all labor charges) DO I have to File SR1 ? Thanks

A vehicle accident must be reported to the DMV if: (1) There was property damage of more than $750; (2) Anyone was injured (no matter how minor); OR (3) Anyone was killed.
