1. announcement docket- usually where the Defendant announces whether she has retained an Attorney or needs to request a free lawyer from the Court. 2. Cases may or may not be heard together depending on whether the MTR is a felony and siled in the same Court-District Court as the Agg Assault. if it is a misdemeanor it willl be heard in a County Court. 3. No way to know how long your friend will stay in jail. If she bonds out not long. 4.Court dates depend on the Courts schedule, the lawyers schedule and the progress of the case. I tell my clients to expect their case to last from 1 month to a year.

The announcement docket usually is for the court to find out if you have an attorney and what you are pleading. The MTR and felony can be resolved together or at different times.
