Can I work in the new location while my h1b visa amendment is in process?

I am currently working on H1B visa, and will transfer office to another city permanently. The company said they need to submit a new LCA and a h1b visa amendment. So I wonder if I can start working in the new location while my amendment is in process? Thanks you

Agree with my colleague that you need to consult your company attorney regarding this. He is the best person to decide, when you should work. Once transfer application is file and you move to different location, your H-1B status may be at risk, if the transfer application is not approved due to some reason. If approved, you should be ok. But commencing work at new location without USCIS approval in hand, is a risky game.

My colleagues are correct, you should consult your company's attorney. If the transfer is denied, you may have some issues, otherwise it may be okay. Again, check with the company's attorney.
