Do you actually think that the state will drop the charges because the gun you used was a toy gun. You need to get an experienced criminal defense attorney on your side. It does not matter that you used a toy gun, you created fear with it whether it was a toy or not, right? The victim or victims did not know and probably could not tell that it was a toy.
Although you are seeking advice from attorneys, your statements on this site are not privileged or confidential and can be used as evidence in the state's case against you. I strongly recommend that you do not post any more admissions on this site or any other public forum. You should only discuss the facts and circumstances of your case with your attorney/potential attorney IN PRIVATE. Armed robbery is a serious charge. If you have not done so already, hire a private defense lawyer that practices in your area. If you cannot afford a private attorney, you should request the services of the Public Defender's Office. Good luck to you.
Hire an attorney and if you cannot afford one get the court to appoint you a Public Defender. The fact the gun was a toy does not matter. As one of the other attorney's previously said: they (Alleged victims) didn't know it was a toy and most likely feared for their lives. This charge is unfortunately one of the 17 that could mean a very long time in prison. You need to find an attorney immediately and don't post any more admissions on . You never know who is looking at these post? Feel free to call us or another attorney that can help assist you.

This is for your attorney to sort out as he or she will have all of the circumstances available to advise you on how to proceed with a motion, trial or plea.
