Can i press charges on someone who falsified a police report to get me arrested?

I got arrrested from someone who falsified a police report by claiming i stole from her. When in actuality I loaned a lot of money to her. When i loaned her the money, i asked for collateral and she provided a watch. She later tells me that she has a buyer for the watch so when I gave her back her watch i made her sign a promissory note to pay within the same day. she never returned with the collateral or money. I recently caught her gambling at a local casino and decided to take back the collateral. WHen i did, she later reported me to the casino security and later got me arrested for grand theft. She completely lied on the police report and made false statements which i can prove by showing the promissory note. Can she be arrested for this? and how?
Talk to the police. They might arrest her for this, as they will be angry with her for wasting their time.
They also may tell you that your dispute with her is a civil dispute.
Good luck.
I agree with Mr. Hill that this should have been treated as a civil matter, and hopefully you will have retained an experienced attorney who can take this to trial successfully, if the D.A. decides to prosecute.

No. It is a popular misconception that individuals can "press" (or "drop") criminal charges. Only the District Attorney has the authority to do this. You can certainly report this crime to the police and/or the District Attorney. However, the police are under no obligation to investigate and the D.A. is under no obligation to file charges.
