Hi, Back pain for 4 weeks. My symptoms started severe, constant back pain, moving into severe cramping and visible spasms upper anterior left thigh, numbness and loss of sensation from knee to ankle. Little to no relief with anti-inflammatory med, narcotic, muscle relaxer, stretching, ice/heat,and chiro care for 3-4 weeks. Pain with sitting, standing, walking, using stairs, bending, driving. Pain disrupts sleep. My job includes: bending, pushing, lifting, pushing, pulling, twisting, sitting, + standing. Currently not working as of a week ago. Waiting on MRI results. I already have requested proper paper work. I am concerned for my future. I work full time. Any insight would be helpful.

It seems like you reported the issue to your employer already. If you haven't do so immediately. If you were injured while working, worker's compensation should cover all of your medical treatment and compensate you fro any loss time at work. If your employer gives you a hard time regarding your conditions, contact a local worker's compensation attorney to assist you. Good luck!

If you believe the injury is caused by the job then you need to report it to your employer. You may have a occupational claim. Employers frequently deny these injuries as being related to work. You will need medical and other evidence. It is best I find in these cases to get legal advice early on so you are protected.
