Will it affect my wife to get her U.S. Residency if I file for bankruptcy?
The medical debts I have on my record happen 2 years before we both got married. So I'm trying to file bankruptcy on my own.

If she needs a sponsor on the affidavit of support, she may need a co-sponsor if you don't currently meet the income requirements.

The bankruptcy itself doesn't have an effect. But you will need to show that you have an income - or assets - if you are going to be your wife's sponsor. If you don't have adequate income or assets you will need to get a "joint sponsor".
