Is your landlord allowed to enter the common areas (kitchen, hallway, etc) of your apartment without giving prior notice?

Does he need to give notice to all tenants living in the apartment who are under a rental agreement, or does he only need to give notice to one tenant?

Since you are not renting rooms from a house where he lives, arguably you're entitled to a 24 hour notice of entry.

No! The landlord can NEVER enter any part of your apartment without legal cause. He needs to give written notice, and he should post it where everyone can see it.
