I live in San Francisco, have Section 8 voucher and am getting married soon. I will add my wife to my Section 8 voucher. Is there any waiting period for my wife to become my Section 8 voucher holder if I die? I heard that in some counties people need to live together for 1 year before significant other has a right to inherit Section 8 voucher in case of the primary Section 8 voucher holder death.
