Is email considered written notice?

As part of my divorce decree,I was given 30 days to provide written notice to indicate whether I wanted to stay in my home. I emailed my attorney that I did. Thirty days has elapsed and I'm a little concerned? Was the email sufficient?

Once you hire an attorney, it is considered unethical for another attorney to give you any advice about your case, except to consult your attorney. Give your attorney a call.

Contact your attorney and request an update on the status of your case.

You should contact your attorney for any advice on your case. If you are not able to get him on the telephone, I am sure you could always email.
