It can take anywhere from 3 weeks to 3 months.

Usually 90 days or less. But it depends in part on the basis for the filing of the I-765 application (i.e., adjustment of status, deferred action, student visa, etc.) and which service center is processing the application. Of course, the time it takes for the biometrics background check to be performed will matter as well, and each individual is different. Hope it arrives soon!
