Will I be charged and/or questioned for accomplice of theft?

My friend two months back was employed at a job and committed return fraud I guess you can call it. He would ask me to order a few items for him with my credit card and then return it while still having possession of the good. I had no idea of his intentions and have possession of no stolen good. Should I be expected to be charged with a crime?

You could be but knowledge and intent could be tough to prove in your case.

Maybe. If you are arrested, do not speak to the police under any circumstance. The only reason to question you is to build a case. Immediately decline any questioning except for name, rank and serial number. Then immediately invoke your right to an attorney and remain silent. Then, hire the best criminal defense you can afford and listen to them.

Did you commit a crime? Maybe. Like Mr. Shaffer pointed out, I think the DA would have a hard time showing your intentions, but your complicity in helping your friend do this at least merits further investigation. Be careful. I would not post any more details online in hopes of learning what to expect or do. Conspiracy liability is viewed very broadly in theft matters.
