I am living in a townhouse and cannot be as much as a day late with rent, or, I have to pay late fees. The unit have a huge rat problem and the landlord is blaming the homeowner association to fix the problem and the homeowners association saying is the landlord duty to fix his unit. I'm tired of this back and forth none sense that's is none effective. I need an immediate solution because I have children that have gotten sick because of this. Also, I'm tired of buy rat traps and bates. I have rats in the entire unit and as fast as I close 1 hold another opens. All the landlord wants is rent.

Have your lease reviewed by an attorney as soon as possible. If pest control is a duty of the landlord in your lease agreement, the infestation problem you are having is grounds for termination of the lease.
