Do I have to register an AdSense website and pay taxes in Washington state?

I am a Washington state resident. Google pays me for advertising on my website and I pay federal taxes on that income. Do I have to register my website business in Washington? And do I have to pay a business tax on it? I know WA has no personal income tax. Anyone here familiar with Washington business law? Thanks.

You should register your website business with local authorities as it is a business. Regarding business income tax, you should report it in accordance with WA requirements, and pay whatever is due. Check with your accountant for specifics.

If you run a business in Washington state, you need to obtain a business license with the state (thereby registering it). Depending on your revenue, you may not owe any taxes, for there is a large B & O credit. You should also look into a City license if your base of business is in a city.
