I signed a Notice of Intent to Renew my Lease, after reviewing the new lease, I can't sign it. Will I lose my Security Deposit?

I have been renting a house for 5 years with the same property management company. My lease was transferred to a new management company and they offered to renew my lease, but the agreement has changed so much that I don't feel comfortable renewing it. Although I signed a notice to renew, I hadn't looked at the new lease agreement and now its too late to give a 60 day notice to vacate. Will I lose my Security Deposit because I failed to give a 60 day notice to move?
There is no way to answer without having the documents to review. The question is what is contained in the documents you signed. If you thought you were renewing but they tendered you a new lease that you don't like andhas changed, that is not a renewal. In theory, your decision not to enter into a new lease should not be related to your right to receive return of your security deposit at the end of your old lease, but the management company may not act that way. You might tell management that you are willing to sign a renewal of the old lease form, but otherwise they offered you a different lease which is not what you signed to renew. Then see what they do. Without seeing the actual documentsw, there is not much more that can be suggested in this type of forum.
