Marriage dispute: husband hoarding income, not paying bills, could lead to mutual eviction

Business 4 views 3 answers
My dad is on social security benefits and is supporting my mom (they are married, this is their only income). My dad has become paranoid/delusional and is threatening to take the SS money for himself, which means they will be evicted (their home is on a shared mortgage, but he refuses to believe or pay this, thinking the place is his alone). He already went to the bank and took all the cash out of the bank account. We obviously need a lawyer to avoid my parents becoming homeless, but I'm not sure what lawyer we need or where to go from here. My parents also have no savings, so paying for a lawyer might be a challenge. What resources are at our disposal? What can/should we do in the next 30 days to avoid eviction?
