chain link fence was in place Neighbor dogs caused us to add wood 8 foot fence inside our property . New people moved next door and attached a large post and sign facing our to the chain link can they do that ? the sign is about 18 by 24 florescent orange . does it mater which way the fence is attached and faces?
If the fence is on the property line, it is owned 1/2 by each property owner. If it is on one side or the other, it belongs to the guy on that side. To answer the question, you need to have a survey done to mark out the property line. I would advise that you plant a tree to block your view of their offensive sign that they put up, presumably on their own property. Or ask them to please remove it. Or build a taller "spite fence".
