Caught shoplifting a 30 dollar item from urban outfitters at 15, said I would be receiving a civil demand charge or something.

They gave me a civil demand notice and called my mother. I also belive they filed a police report. Could if be sent to juviee for this? Items were not damaged and never actually made it out of the store. How much would a typical fine for this be?

You need to speak with a local criminal defense attorney about this issue. At 15, you don't want a theft conviction on your record. You've got college applications, job applications and other inquiries in your future where you don't want anyone to see you've been convicted of a theft charge. Good luck.

You will likely receive a letter soon demanding you pay $200. Pay it and keep your receipt. It's a civil fine for stealing. Talk to a lawyer immediately should you receive a summons to come to municipal criminal court. Hoover takes a hard line with theft cases.
