Speeding ticket 22349 A(VC) in California. I was driving 84mph, when the speed limit is 65.

The officer treated it as though it 74. Should I dispute or just pay? Can I pay early? The officer said I was eligible for traffic school. How do I go about paying the ticket early and taking the online traffic school so that I don't get any points? Will the speeding ticket be completely gone from my record once I complete the traffic school?

Best thing to do ,is hire an layer to see if they can get rid of it for you. Some strategies work, and you won't be left with a fine or points.

If you want to fight the ticket , get an attorney. Traffic school will still be an option - but if officer does not show , case could be dismissed.

I would go to court and set the matter for trial. If the officer fails to appear, great. The case will be dismissed. If the officer does show up, plead no contest and request traffic school. As to paying the ticket early, you can try to call the clerk of the court and ask about traffic school.

You can go to court and set the matter for trial. You can also hire an attorney to do this for you. If the officer fails to show up at the trial, then the case cab be dismissed. As my colleagues have pointed out, you also have the option of attending traffic school to avoid receiving points on your DMV record. Good Luck!
