How do I cancel a worthless Humana one dental insurance policy

The policy did not cover a dentalcleaning. It was a periodontal maintenance. It will not provide a discount on a crown when the policy says it provides discounts on crowns. I didn't even give any discount on the cleaning. I want to cancel the policy which has monthly premiums coming out of my checking. I have written requesting cancellation brcause of untrue advertizing. Can I have my bank block payment?

show your bank officer a copy of the letter you wrote cancelling the policy. Then, the bank should stop making payments

So sorry this is happening to you--how frustrating! Why give up so fast on having the insurance company pay? I'd give it another try. I would ask them for a formal benefit denial outlining the reasons why they denied your claim and then, I would ask them about their formal appeal process. These insurance companies bank on participants giving up. Definitely have another go at them! Best of luck to you!
