How do I file a civil suit for defamation of characters & some kind of emotional distress?? Where do I start?
Today out of no where a post pops up on my business Facebook page that announces my husband is having a affair. Of course this is news to me. I then go to my private account where I had apparently the day before received a friend request from this poster with a Private message saying ask me how I know your husband is having an affair. I immediately delete the post off my business page to try to prevent any further damage caused by my customers seeing it. And then reply back to the private post from what is a clearly new and fake account to find out more details as I was extremely distraught to then point I could hardly think let alone finish my work!! By the end of tonight I questioned them enough they admitted they lied and are competition.
