my spouse signed the waiver before I filed for divorce. I was told that this was wrong but when I went back to ask her to sing it again she wouldn't. Can I post in my local newspaper? if so how long does the posting have to run for?
Get citation issued. Have her personally served by a process server, Constable or Sheriff.
Service by publication is enormously expensive, is not done in a regular newspaper, is done by the clerk and not you, is not appropriate until after you have attempted person service and failed.
Serve her with citation. Get a lawyer to help you. This is only the beginning. And if you have children or own anything, then it really is a bad idea to proceed without a lawyer.
