Do I need to provide a notice to consumer for a criminal subpoena duces tecum?

If I am using a criminal subpoena (CR-125) to subpoena consumer business records, do I need to provide notice to the consumer like you do for a civil subpoena duces tecum? I don't think so (there is no judicial council form for it), but I just wanted to verify.

Assuming you are using subpoena for a criminal case, you do not need to provide notice to the consumer. The documents should go to the court who may review them in camera before disclosing them to you.
