FNU corrected on passport, I-797 and I-94 and now visiting home country
Hi,
I did not have surname on my country passport so I got visa, I-94 and all other US document as first name as FNU last Name as myname
1) Then I applied for new passport in USA and split my name as FirstName LastName
2) filled for H1 amendment and got new I797A with correct name and less validity than previous I797.
3) I94 is also attached with new I797 with same I94 number.
So Now I am visiting my country next month and I have cancelled passport with valid visa and new passport with correct name.
1) Which passport should be stamped while exiting Unites states?
2) Do I need to tear the I94 from I797A and give it while Exit
3) How I-94 will be updated with new name?
I will be getting new stamping on new passport before re-enrty.
Please suggest.
