What are the procedures after 10 year bar from voluntary departure?

i had a greencard at first but overstayed out of us so the immigration took away my green card when i went back to us and deported me for 10 years. I took voluntary departure though. However i want to go back to visit for just 1-2 weeks and go as a tourist visa. Therefore i would like to know.. 1) will i be allowed to apply after 10 year bar? 2) also what are the procedures for applying? 3) how can i track my history record for my status if the 10 year bar is over.? ( lost all documents) 4) if i just apply visa and if visa is approve if i go to us will i have any problem with the immigration in us?

Yes, you will be able to apply. Procedures need to be looked up on the consulate's website. There is no tracking of history record. You can file FOIA request and US government will mail you the records. The last question contains too many "ifs" to be answered with any degree of reason.

First of all request your immigration record (FOIA request http://www.foia.gov/how-to.html) After 10 years you can go through the process at the embassy. Good luck!

1-4. Doubtful, at best. Chances of being approved for a visitor's visa are next to nil, Besides you will need an I-212 waiver for application for reentry after deportation. A pure exercise in futility. Sorry. And yes, do request the copy of your entire immigration file by filing a Form G-639 FOIA request with EOIR (immigration court.)
