Chances at Discrimination/Retaliation Federal Civil Trial-?

Bankruptcy and Debt 4 views 2 answers
Several State of CT employees within my bargaining unit have engaged in a Federal Lawsuit against State of CT charging disparate treatment and retaliation from complaining about disparate compensation despite IDENTICAL job descriptions with others assigned at other State facilities. All other professionals are compensated equally between facilities EXCEPT for us. We've complained over 10 year period. Case was filed in December 2013 and have not heard from judge whether they will hear it. When should we expect to hear and what is the likely outcome? We have over 10 years of documented pushback, retaliation and humilation submitted to judge. State is taking blatant retaliation for filing the lawsuit which we again have documentation of.

You should be asking your attorney these questions. This kind of case is complicated and we could only guess at best.

I agree with the above answer. Are you being represented? What has taken place in the proceeding to this point and where was it filed? Federal District Court in CT? I do not understand what you mean by "ave not heard from judge whether they will hear it."
