Can I file 485 on my own? (I have my EB3 I-140 approved) also can I file EB1 directly without I-140 as my EB3 I-140 is approved

Went back to India in Feb 2013 as PERM approval got delayed and have completed 6 years on H1B. I-140 got approved in July 2013 while I was in India. Came back to US in Aug 2014 on L1A. EB3 job title is 'Project Manager'. L1A title is also 'Project Manager'. Would like to know any shortcuts are possible combining EB3 I-140 and L1A (EB1).

Despite your creative thinking, you will first run by the idea with your employer's immigration attorney. EB-1 in this case is unlikely a self petition.

Immigration law is such a complicated area of the law that you simply must communicate with an employment attorney. Immigration is not a do-it-yourself project

No. You cannot "bypass" the brand new I-140 petition your employer will need to file on your behalf for your EB-1(c) case. An EB-3 I-140 cannot be "combined" with the previously approved one for an EB-3 job position be used for an EB-1(c) petition. It would be ridiculous even to think about something like this..
