Can I switch the company/job now or I have to wait till I get the card in the mail?
I just got approved for I:485 yesterday and I have good offer from a company. My current employer is welling to let me go with no problem.

If you leave your employer before getting the green card or too quickly after getting the green card, you could lose the green card in the future when you apply for citizenship. Be patient. Work at least a few months with the green card at the current employer.

I suggest staying with the present employment until you receive your LPR status card to your address to make that employment transition.

Wait for the card.
Work for the sponsoring employer for a few more months ... after the card arrives.
Don't ruin things at this late stage of the process.
