Lately, for a n-400 app to the San Francisco Office, how long after the biometrics appointment is the naturalization Interview?

The n-400 applicant (Mom) is now in San Francisco, with the rest of the family (dad and kids) returning from work abroad and hoping to schedule flights around the naturalization interview, but not before. We very much appreciate any information regarding recent interview timing for the SF office.

The SF district office seems to have considerably slowed down with the scheduling of those N-400 interviews. I would venture to say at least 4 months after the "capturing" of the biometrics. You can look for the processing times online at www.uscis.gov but I woudnt give what you see there much weight. I would add about 2 months to the times listed there - that way you will not be disappointed.

Avoid travel when naturalization application is pending. I have seen interviews getting delayed as the USCIS systems shows candidate is not in the U.S.
