Please tell me the difference between bringing her under b1/b2 visa here, marry her, and sponsor her and bringing under K1 aka fiance visa? I was told that K1 visa process takes 6-9 months to bring her here from start to finish. I don't want that long. Is there any advantage for K1 in terms of expense? Please help
It would be fraudulent (by her) to enter on a b1/b2 visa with the intent to marry you, since that is a non-immigrant visa. However, a lot of people do it anyway. Could you marry her in Netherlands and then have her get a green card through the consular process?
The K-1 visa allows you to marry here in the US, but you must do so within 90 days of entry.
The proper, legal way to bring your fiance to the US is by petitioning for her using a fiance visa. B visas are designed for a different intent, but, for example, could be used in some instances for the fiance to visit the U.S. while waiting for the fiance visa to process.

You obtained valuable answers from my colleagues. The most efficient (and highly beneficial) way of truly understanding the process and the real options available is through a private consultation with an experienced immigration lawyer. There is no way you are going to obtain any of that on a general forum on the internet.

Entering the U.S. on a b1/b2 visa with the INTENT to stay and get a green card would be misrepresentation. Travel on a b1/b2 is only for non-immigrant purposes. If your fiance's intent is to marry in the U.S., then return to Netherlands to await a spouse visa, that could be done on a b1/b2. Otherwise, your options are the K1 or marry overseas and apply for spouse visa. Either way, she will need to spend some months outside the U.S. Which option works best is really dependent on your personal circumstances, so it is worthwhile to consult with an attorney to go over details.
A person cannot be admitted into the U.S. on a B1/B2 to get married and immigrate to the U.S. A person can be admitted on a K1 to get married and immigrate to the U.S.
