Yes, a lawyer could do so, but prevailing would be hard. In general, to prevail in slander you have to usually have to prove that the statements were false. That can be difficult, so if the information posted was true, you should be okay. If they are not true, then you should take them down. Further, he may have to prove malice, which means you intended to harm him. My suggestion is that if you have a problem with your lawyer is that you try to work it out. If you are mad for some reason and trying to get revenge by publishing information that is not true or slanderous, you should take it down, and try to work out your problem. You could consult another lawyer and have that lawyer approach him or her.

It depends on what was said. If you couched it as opinion, any suit would be frivolous. If you told the truth about facts then you would prevail. Unfortunately, if you are sued, it will be costly. If you have homeowner's insurance, tender the suit to your carrier. Otherwise, while you may be wholly in the right, it will be costly for you financially and will be merely time consuming for the lawyer. But if you have your carrier defend you, it may be worth it to stand your ground. Good luck!
