Sole proprietorship business with personal name

I want to sell goods on Amazon. I will use my personal name(first name and surname) for business name. My business will be self employed or sole proprietorship without any outside employee. Should I start my business without any registration? And use my social security number as TIN?

You should be able to get an EIN even as a sole proprietor. That way your personal social security number isn't disclosed to other people.

Why not consider an LLC using a bank account in that business name and an EIN?

I agree with the previous answer and you should start out right most mistakes in business are made at the outset. You can properly form an LLC for low cost and separate your personal assets form what will be your business risk. Good Luck

If you were located in Ohio, I would recommend forming a single member LLC for liability purposes. If you want to then file a trade name or dba, you would want to connect that trade name with your LLC to protect yourself from personal liability.
